70th ANNUAL ELECTION AND MEETING

Tuesday, October 23th is the date of our 70th annual election.  This year, 2 members will be elected to the
GSWCD Board of Supervisors

Anyone who is 18 years or older and resides in Guernsey County; owns real estate in Guernsey County; or both is eligible to vote in Official GSWCD elections.

Ballots may be placed anytime during the hours of
8 AM to 4:00 PM at the office the day of the election, or from
6 PM to 7:30 PM during the annual meeting.

You need not attend the banquet to vote.  You may also request an absentee ballot by calling or writing to request one. Ballots must be requested no earlier than 21 days and no later than 5 days before the election. Absentee ballots must be received in the SWCD office by 4 PM the day of the election.

The annual meeting and banquet will be held at the Cassell Station VFD,
4500 Peters Creek Rd, Cambridge, OH
Guest Speaker:  Dave Adair and Steve Stolarik from the Byesville Scenic Railway.   They will do a living history presentation on the history of coal mining in Guernsey County.
Tickets to the banquet may be purchased for $10 by contacting any Guernsey SWCD board of supervisors member, or by contacting the office.
